Tottori is a prefecture located along the Sea of Japan, a two hour drive from Osaka. The famous Tottori sand dunes are located there. There are several hot springs with excellent spring quality. The famous hot spring areas are Hawai Hot Spring, Misasa Hot Spring, and Kaike Hot Spring. Famous foods are winter crab dishes, watermelon in summer, and pears in fall.
